Fatima Mohammed Habib, a Nigerian social entrepreneur, has
been recognized as one of Africa's most impactful Change Cakers. Founding the
Advocacy for Human Value Foundation (AHVF) at just 14 years old, she has been a
driving force in the fight against illiteracy in Northern Nigeria and a
prominent figure in the "Bring Back Our Girls Campaign" in the
Northeast.
As the founder and Executive Director of AHVF, Fatima has
been instrumental in providing essential services like Water, Sanitation, and
Hygiene (WASH), healthcare, protection, and education to vulnerable communities
across Nigeria.
Inspired by her late grandparents, Late Hon. Kadi Alkali
Habib, and Alhaji Tahar Ahmad, as well as her parents, Muhammad Habib and
Rukaiyya Muhammad Tahir, she embarked on her mission to make a difference at a
young age.
Her efforts have garnered recognition, including the title
of Youngest Humanitarian in Nigeria. In October 2020, Huawei Technology Company
Nigeria Limited partnered with Fatima's NGO and The Federal Ministry of
Communication and Digital Economy to donate standard equipment and renovate the
school building of Al-Walidyn Charitable School in Pantami Community, Gombe
State, Nigeria.
Fatima's dedication to humanitarian causes continues to
inspire and impact communities across Africa. It is not a surprise to many as
she made the list Africa's Top 100 Change Makers.
