Morocco Initiates Major Humanitarian Medical Aid Operation
for Gaza
King Mohammed VI, the Sovereign of Morocco and President of
the Al Quds Committee has ordered the launch of a substantial humanitarian
medical aid operation for the Palestinian population in Gaza.
These operations, largely financed by the King's funds, aim
to provide critical medical support to Palestinians. According to a press
release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and
Moroccans Living Abroad, the aid package includes 40 tonnes of medical supplies,
focusing on burn treatment, surgical and trauma care, and essential medications
for adults and children.
This aid initiative is the second of its kind, following a
similar operation last Ramadan under the King's directives. The current shipment
will follow the same route as the previous food aid operation.
The large-scale humanitarian efforts highlight King Mohammed
VI's personal commitment and continuous concern for the Palestinian cause. This
action underscores Morocco's dedication to peace and the welfare of the
Palestinian people, even amidst the country's resumption of relations with
Israel. Morocco continues to leverage its influence and networks to support the
interests of the Palestinians and promote regional peace.
The medical aid operation is a clear example of the Royal
commitment to the Palestinian people and the effective leadership of the Al
Quds Committee and Bayt Mal Al Quds, reflecting a vision of peace rooted in
tangible support for the Palestinian community.
