Obuobia Darko-Opoku is a Ghanaian politician, journalist,
and philanthropist. With her journalism skills, she formerly co-hosted TV
Africa's Morning Show, "Breakfast Live," alongside actress Nikki
Samonas and Khadijat.
Obuobia Darko-Opoku hosts "Pause for Three
Minutes," a motivational program that earned a nomination for the L.E.A.D
series award in 2017. Darko-Opoku's impact extends beyond media as she delves
into politics, having been a parliamentary candidate for the National
Democratic Congress in Weija-Gbawe.
Her commitment to community welfare led to the establishment
of the Obuobia Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting
women. Through this foundation, she has contributed significantly to various communities,
including the Muslim community, the Weija Gbawe Constituency, and the Ga South
Municipality, through charitable donations and initiatives.
