Ifeyinwa Ugochukwu who has been the CEO of the Tony Elumelu
Foundation in Nigeria from 2017 to 2023, has been recognized as one of Africa's
Most Impactful 100 Change Makers in 2023. With over two decades of experience
in various fields including Capacity Building, Entrepreneurship Empowerment,
Education, Partnership Development, Start-Up Incubation, Stakeholder
Management, and Brand Management, she has made significant contributions to
development.
Ifeyinwa is a Trained and Certified Executive Coach,
specializing in Leadership Development and Management team effectiveness,
focusing on transformational, transitional, and transactional integral coaching
approaches. Her role as an Expert-In-Residence at the Enterprise Development
Centre of the Lagos Business School involves facilitating Coach Training
Programs and Corporate Executive Coaching Programs.
In her capacity as Vice President for NewGlobe, a US tech
company partnering with visionary governments across emerging markets to
revolutionize the public education system, Ifeyinwa leads a team responsible
for managing partner governments at all levels. Their collaborative efforts
have resulted in widespread transformational reforms across Africa, with a
remarkable increase of over 300% in literacy and numeracy rates within the first
6 months of implementation.
Additionally, Ifeyinwa is actively involved in Climate
Action Africa, an impact-driven social enterprise dedicated to advancing
climate literacy, advocacy, and coalition-building efforts. Recognizing
Africa's vulnerability to the adverse effects of climate change, she is
committed to building a more sustainable and climate-resilient Africa through
global collaboration.
