Kenya’s promising Political Leader Betty Adera has been named among Africa's Most Impactful 100 Change Makers 2023, by the Humanitarian Awards Global.
Betty Adera is the founder and President and Chief Executive Officer of Betty Adera Foundation, a non-profit organization that invests in youth and women in Kenya with a bias towards prevention, mitigation, and response to all forms of Gender Based Violence, Unemployment, Disabilities, Talent Nurturing, Peace Building, and Climate Action.
Betty Adera is also the Patron of the Young Women’s Forum (YWF) in Africa - the largest movement of young women – nominated by the Africa Youth Trust (AYT). Ms. Adera is also the winner of the Ms. President Title for Nairobi County, Kenya.
Currently, she is operating on the national political platform and seeks to be the next Member of Parliament for Westlands Constituency, Nairobi. She is also the current National Chairperson KANU Women Congress (KWC), KANU Party BBI Secretariat Member, and Ms. President Nairobi County.
Betty is also the Team Leader of the Research and Policy Committee and a Think Tank for women affairs in KWC having developed the first-ever Training Manual for KWC Aspirants and Members. She will be the Master Trainer of Trainers for its rollout across all 47 Counties of Kenya.
