Adigun Temitayo J is one of Africa’s Most Impactful 100
Change Makers - According To Humanitarian Awards Global. Adigun has an
extensive and impactful history of involvement in various social service and
humanitarian initiatives, spanning multiple organizations and roles.
He co-founded the Wheels of Hope Rising Foundation (WHRF) in
January 2011 and has been the president since. WHRF under his watch, has
provided support for over 80,000 children to return to school in rural areas.
Adigun has also implemented various projects such as
renovating classrooms, providing modern toilets, portable water, and first aid
boxes, conducting medical outreaches, and training health practitioners in
multiple Nigerian states. He has also empowered women entrepreneurs and people
with disabilities through skill-acquisition initiatives.
Away from WHRF, Adigun has been the Vice President of Africa
Project Management and Development - Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation
(GGAF), since July 2019. He provides leadership and management to the African
GGA team across 56 countries and also works towards achieving the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by supporting impactful projects
and initiatives in Africa.
Aside from
the above, Adigun has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Africa
Rural Development Movement since 2015, a Board Advisor of the World Peace Party
Helpless People Organization since 2016, Ambassador of Peace of the Institute
Of Peace And Development, among many other impactful roles.
